Dr. Marla Kriet received her bachelor's degree in zoology from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) and fulfilled her childhood dream when she received her veterinary degree, also from CSU, in 2000.
Dr. Kriet has practiced in Parker and Aurora prior to joining the team at Animal Care Center of Castle Pines. Dr. Kriet's professional interests include veterinary dentistry, geriatric care, pain management, and wellness and preventative care. She is also certified in low stress handling and acupuncture.
Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is establishing long-term relationships with her patients and their families and caring for pets from puppy and kittenhood through their senior years.
At home, Dr. Kriet, her husband, Bryan, and daughter, Natalie, live with their 3 dogs-Avalanche, a golden retriever; Yeti, a Jack Russell terrier; and Sally, a Shih-Tzu. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in the mountains, skiing, downhill mountain biking, reading, and traveling to any beach.
